cuba
CUBA

Hemianthus callitrichoides' Cuba 'is one of the world's smallest aquarium plants, which with its millimeter small round leaves grows creeping across the bottom layer. No wonder it is one of the most popular foreground plants. The plant is not difficult, but requires good conditions in terms of light, added CO2, water circulation and fertiliser to thrive properly. If this is achieved, Cuba Hemianthus is extremely fast growing and one of the most attractive carpet-forming plants in both large and small aquariums. Often small oxygen bubbles or beads will form on top of the plants, giving the bottom deck a very vivid appearance. If you do not have these optimal conditions, you can use Micranthemum' Monte Carlo ', which has significantly lower growth requirements. It should be planted in small bundles with a few centimeters apart and then spread quickly and form a nice, coherent carpet on the bottom of the aquarium. The carpet must be cut at short intervals, otherwise the plants will shadow the lower parts and release the bottom layer. The plant was originally found in Cuba west of Havana.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1012/3758/8352/files/112950_base_thumbnail_small_c221e643-0485-4c0a-8400-e89769ca4800.jpg?v=1787422292
