Monthly tablet for protection against ticks and fleas in cats and dogs

AdTab chewable tablets with taste works against ticks and fleas and can be used for both dogs and cats. A chewable tablet gives effect for one month at a time.

Make sure you give the tablet with food or within 30 minutes to get full effect.

All dogs over 8 weeks of age who have a weight of at least 1,3 kg can use AdTab, also cats over 8 weeks of age who have a weight of over 0.5 kg can use the chewable tablets. There are several pack sizes to allow you to get the size that fits your particular dog or cat's weight.

Adtab's active substance is called lotilans. Fleas and ticks' nervous system are affected by the active substance and therefore the parasites die quickly.

Fleas and ticks that are already on your dog or cat are killed using AdTab. AdTab is targeted this type of fleas (Ctenocephalides felis and C. canis) and ticks (for dogs and cats: Ixodes ricinus, dog additionally: Rhipicephalus sanguineus, I. hexagonus and Dermacenter reticulatus), and the effect lasts for one month per tablet.

How do I give AdTab chewable tablets?

AdTab is a simple way to treat your cat throughout the season. We recommend giving AdTab once a month to protect the cat.

Step 1: Select the correct Adtab tablet based on the weight of your cat

Step 2: Remove the tablet from the pack

Step 3: Place the tablet in the animal's feed, or let your cat take it from your hand

Step 4: Make sure you feed the tablet or within 30 minutes to get full effect

Step 5: Repeat monthly

AdTab chewable tablets for dogs

AdTab quickly treats your dog against fleas and ticks. It is given as a chewable tablet that has a taste of meat.

Within 4 hours after the flea has bitten and 48 hours after the tick has bitten, AdTab starts to work and it continues to protect the dog for a month. The vast majority of dogs in our trial 1.2 ate the chewable tablet entirely by themselves.

The tablet must be used in all dogs over 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 1.3 kg.

Indication area: Treatment of flea and tick infestations.

The medicine acts immediately killing and has a long-term effect of 1 month against fleas and ticks. Fleas and ticks must sit on the host and begin to ingest blood to be exposed to the active substance.

Contraindications: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. A veterinarian should be consulted prior to treatment of animals less than 8 weeks of age or of less than 1,3 kg body weight.

Adverse reactions and risks:All side effects are very rare. Diarrhoea, bloody diarrhoea, vomiting, anorexia, lethargy, increased thirst, itching, inappropriate urination, increased urination and urinary incontinence are mild and transient and typically disappear without treatment. Lack of coordination of movements, convulsions and tremors is transient in most cases.

The safety of the medicinal product has not been established in breeding animals, pregnant or lactating animals. Consult a veterinarian before treatment during pregnancy and lactation and of breeding animals. No known interactions.

Posology20 - 43 mg / kg. Use an appropriate tablet or combination of tablets to obtain the recommended dose.

Administer the chewable tablet (s) once a month with or after feeding. For optimum control of flea and tick grip, the product should be administered at monthly intervals throughout the flea and / or tick season.
